Chrysler Airflow – 1934

Silver Chrysler Airflow

Our list of vintage cars Chrysler Air flow opens. It is a vehicle designed to achieve the best possible aerodynamics. He wasn't pretty. However, giving up the vertical grill and protruding wheel arches allowed for low fuel consumption with very good performance. This vehicle was made entirely of metal - at that time, many competing cars also included wooden elements.

Chrysler Airflow was also intended to provide the greatest possible comfort to the driver and passengers. The seat was moved back and the engine forward. This created additional leg room. However, this model was not very popular among drivers. The vehicle was also an important basis for subsequent cars and an inspiration for designers from all over the world. For this reason, this classic car deserves an important place in automotive history.

Volkswagen Beetle – 1938

VW Garbus

second vintage car on our list is the Volkswagen Beetle. The popular Beetle is a well-known car. By 2003, over 21 million copies of this model were produced. Interestingly, the vehicle's real name was Volkswagen Type 1, but it is much better known as the Beetle.

The Beetle was intended to be a car for the masses, designed on behalf of a German war criminal. However, it survived World War II and was produced in subsequent years. The vehicle was assembled, among others: in Mexico and Brazil, although initially it was created only in Germany.

What are the features of the Beetle? In the case of this one classic car it is primarily a distinctive shape, with rounded wheel arches and round headlights. This makes this vintage car a vehicle that is difficult to confuse with another model. It has become a permanent part of automotive history and has found its way into many classic car collections.
